ELECTRICIAN - 2 plus (2+) years of experience (unless an apprenticeship program has been completed) working in the commercial electrical industry.
Hourly Wage - Based upon experience, previous training, and PES skills assessment and interview.
Job Summary and Expectations of PES Electricians
Must pass our verification process
Must have an active TDLR
Must be able to perform all helper and mechanic duties
Position involves lifting, digging, climbing, drilling, cutting, clean-up installations
Troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
Must be able to operate all electrical hand tools
Must be able to operate large pipe bending tools, both hydraulic or mechanical benders
Read/interpret blue prints and apply NEC codes in maintenance and construction work
Able to isolate defects in wiring, switches and motors
Able to install and maintain motors, lighting fixtures, switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, and devices
Practice job site safety
Minimal supervision required
