Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Security Installation Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As the Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial security system installations. This role requires a strong understanding of security technologies, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end installation projects for commercial security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and cameras.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of installations by the installation team.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to align project objectives and deliverables.
• Possess a deep understanding of commercial security technologies and stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
• Provide technical guidance to installation teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that installations meet the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of security system specifications in access control, burglar alarm and camera systems.
• Knowledge of Brivo, Paxton, Axis and Verkada a plus.
• Ability to program systems a plus.
• Supervise and lead a team of installation technicians, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment, ensuring that all team members adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
• Effectively communicate project expectations, goals, and timelines to team members.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the reliability and functionality of installed security systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections and audits of completed installations, addressing any deficiencies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the installation process.
• Address client inquiries, concerns, and changes to project scope in a professional and responsive manner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience 3 years in a similar role within the commercial security installation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of security system technologies, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully overseeing complex installations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing commercial security installations.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as (but not limited to) Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) or Certified Security Project Professional (CSPP) are preferred.
