Automotive Technician

We are now hiring for a full-time Automotive Technician in Alexander, AR.

This person will be responsible for providing timely, quality and cost-effective repairs and maintenance for our customers. Workload will vary amongst customers with a range of small to medium duty cars and trucks. We service 20+ small fleets of delivery and utility trucks. Your own tools are required for this position.

Schedule

• 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday (no weekends!)

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance with engine/transmissions, tires, belts, hoses, brakes, rotors, oil changes, etc. and diagnose and complete larger repairs as necessary
• Perform minor to major mechanical and body repairs on trucks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot A/C and HVAC systems in vehicles
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical problems, including with VEDR cameras and other equipment
• Collaborate with management to maintain parts inventory, and communicate needs to appropriate personnel
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed on all vehicles
• Complete other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience performing preventative, minor and major maintenance on medium to large trucks necessary
• Ability to safely operate vehicles equipped with manual and automatic transmission
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience working with DEF systems is a plus
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and background check (Paid by Employer)
• Must be able to work independently and perform work during flexible hours
• Must not have any felonies / violent misdemeanors or drug related misdemeanors in the last 10 years
