The Medical Biller will utilize their excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively calculate and bill out charges to insurance companies

• Proficient knowledge CPT/ICD-10 codes and modifiers
• Accurately and timely bill out charges to insurance companies
• Prompt completion of insurance verification and prior authorizations
• Posts Payments in a timely manner
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid & Commercial Insurance
• Exhibits strong commitment to excellence, willing to go “the extra mile” for patients and coworkers
• Demonstrates empathic bedside manner comfortably interacting both face to face and over the phone with patients and their family members answering questions about their bills
• Understands the importance of maintaining HIPAA compliant confidentiality
• Demonstrates the ability to exercise a high degree of diplomacy and tact fostering a positive attitude
• Fosters respect, positivity, and a high degree of professionalism when interacting with physicians, patients and insurance company
• Monitors accounts receivable
• Maintains Patient Assistance Enrollment Program
• Manages Patient Collections
