Work schedule is 12-hour alternating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Starting pay is $18.07/hour. Pay increases are possible as trainings are completed, up to $21.44/hour.
Required:
- Ability to work 12-hour alternating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have reliable transportation
- Industrial, construction, or shipping experience – 6 months minimum
- Capable of following all safety rules
- Good computer skills
- Mechanical skills and aptitude
- Ability to read a tape measure, including metric
- Proof of a High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug test
POSITION PURPOSE
Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during the operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops. Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a safe and clean work space
- Follow established safety rules and regulations
- Recognize, avoid, and where possible eliminate hazards within the workplace
- Attention to detail
- Perform various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on assigned machines
- Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
- Inventory control.
- Loading trucks and/or railcars.
- Operating process equipment via HMI’s.
- Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
QUALIFICATIONS
Competencies and Experience
Required:
- Prior experience in heavy industry, construction or similar field
- Basic computer skills
- Basic mechanical skills and aptitude
Education
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Cab crane, forklift, hand torch, Hilti gun
- Burn bed, Crane, Pulpit, Shipping floor
The employee will be required to sit, stand, and/or walk as follows & alternate sitting and standing as needed:
- Sitting 0 hours at a time; average 12 hours a day
- Standing 12 hours at a time; average 12 hours a day
- Walking 12 hours at a time; average 12 hour a day
The position requires the following talking, vision and hearing capabilities:
- Talking person to person, on the phone, and in a group setting

- Vision near, midrange, far, and peripheral vision
- Depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
