About the Job
The Resident Manager oversees the daily operations of a residential property portfolio comprising approximately 750 single-family homes. Their primary responsibilities include managing resident relations, ensuring a high-quality resident experience, addressing customer service issues, handling lease renewals and move-out documentation, implementing collection practices, and maximizing resident retention. They conduct move-out reconciliation checks, drive collection strategies to minimize evictions and delinquencies, and represent the company at eviction hearings while monitoring HOA compliance. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma/GED, with a bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business management, or related field preferred. Additionally, they should have at least three years of directly related experience, preferably in property operations, real estate, or property management, along with a real estate license and any required permits/certifications. Strong communication, negotiation, and tenant relationship management skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with property management software, are desired.
