Tube Bender
Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $27.00/hr.
Shift: Monday-Thursday (10-hour day shift with potential OT wok on Friday)
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Use a manual tube bender to shape various size tubing runs.
- Understand how to read and follow written instructions and plans.
- Fabricate parts by flaring, deburring, trimming, and forming material of various dimensions.
- Repair damaged tubing and using a threading machine to thread pipes.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Follow appropriate procedures to promote safety and ensure the quality of your work.
- Maintain production records and assist in the development of remediation plans to prevent.
defects from persisting.
- Pre-build tubing assemblies with some welding for brackets and supports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and provide consistent work.
- Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift over 15 pounds at times.
