We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Interpret blue prints, program, set-up, build and inspect parts in the tool room environment.
- Operate and program all CNC Mazak Lathes
- Produces prototype and sample products.
- Required knowledge of steels, stresses, and materials.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and grinding
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures based on job requirements
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in machining preferred
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Knowledge of Okuma, Mazatrol, G Code and other conversational CNC programming required.
This position is commutable from; Athens, French Mill, Whitfield, Yorkshire, Piney Chapel
