2nd Shift Assembly Operator

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for operating machines in a high-volume production area in the automotive manufacturing department.
Monday through Friday 2pm to 10:30pm. Some overtime may be required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Operates machinery in a high-volume production area.
- Loads/unloads small parts to and from machines.
- Inspects parts to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Performs preventative equipment maintenance as required.
- Abides by TS16949 processes and procedures as dictated by the Quality Procedures Manual.
- Recommends ideas to assist in the implementation of quality and improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.

A) EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
