What You Should Know About the Special Evet Coordinator Role:
- This is a FT position, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm

The Special Event Coordinator Essential Duties:
To build support and advance the mission of Hospice by sustaining and increasing the level of annual philanthropic commitment of patients, families, corporations and individuals throughout Ohio’s Hospice services regions. This professional position functions as a fundraising generalist with particular emphasis given to special events. Work in conjunction with the special events team to develop and implement unique fundraising strategies related to Ohio’s Hospice signature fundraising events.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred or equivalent of at least 5 years of experience in general fund development with a proven track record of having generated in excess of $100,000 in gross revenue from individual events for which he/she was responsible
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at hand
- Valid driver’s license in the state of Ohio
- State minimum auto insurance
- Organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function either independently or as an active team member
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
- Microsoft Office experience
- Donor management software experience (Raisers Edge, FoxPro)
- Previous administrative assistant or customer service experience
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity
