Now hiring a Paper Converting Machine Operator for a Manufacturing Company in Pensacola, FL.

DUTIES:
Paper-converting machine operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining paper production machinery. They ensure the efficient production of paper products, including cutting, folding, winding, and packaging. Operators perform quality checks and troubleshoot machinery issues to ensure smooth operations and meet production deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Operate paper converting machines and equipment to convert paper rolls into various sizes and shapes
Monitor machine operations and adjust machine settings to ensure quality and productivity standards are met
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubrication
Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments to the machine
Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Communicate with supervisors and other team members to report machine malfunctions and issues
Keep production records and logs to track machine performance and output
Assist with training new machine operators as needed

Requirements:

Experience in operating paper-converting machines
Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for paper-converting machines
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads
Attention to detail and ability to detect and correct quality issues
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Understanding of safety protocols and ability to comply with safety regulations

PAY | $18 - $20 to start (Depending on Experience)

SCHEDULE | Full Time, Rotating Shift Work, 12 hr shifts

REQUIREMENTS | Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
