Healy Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is now hiring for the role of Staff Physical Therapist. We currently have one opening in our East Providence, RI clinic.

Our main goal is to help patients remain healthy and active while fostering a positive work environment for our staff to thrive in. We maintain an excellent therapist to patient ratio, only schedule one-on-one appointments, and provide continuing education reimbursement along with a full benefits package!

We specialize in one-on-one care that combines the use of manual therapy and functional exercise. We are known for our ability to help people with rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, sports, neurological, and work-related injuries. We treat a wide variety of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, who are dealing with acute and chronic conditions.

Staff Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Evaluate patients to assess their physical condition, deficits, and symptoms
• Diagnose patients by listening to them, observing how they move, and documenting objective findings
• Create individualized treatment plans and work with PTAs/PT Aides to implement them
• Treat patients one-on-one
• Educate patients on their condition and ways they can improve their quality of life with appropriate therapeutic exercise
• Use a combination of hands-on therapy and other treatment modalities to relieve patients of their pain and promote healing
• Maintain patient records by tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
