Our client, a well-established and growing financial services company is currently seeking a talented and experienced .NET Developer to join our dynamic team in West Houston. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our .NET-based applications while leveraging a range of technologies including C#, SQL Server, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Position Overview:
As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for building scalable and high-performance web applications using the .NET framework and associated technologies. Your primary focus will be on developing clean, maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our business requirements. Experience with Xamarin for mobile application development is considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the .NET framework, specifically with C#, SQL Server, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Collaborate with the business to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern web development techniques and libraries.
Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
Perform unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend the functionality of existing applications.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in web development, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven work experience as a .NET Developer, with expertise in C#, SQL Server, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Solid understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility.
Experience with Xamarin for mobile application development is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
