A leading provider of contract intermodal terminal management services throughout North America is looking to add a Heavy Equipment- Crane Mechanic/ Lift Equipment Mechanic for Los Angeles, CA to their team of professionals.
Crane or Lift Equipment Mechanics responsibilities:
• Follow a checklist of inspection procedures
• Repair and maintain overhead cranes, side loaders and chassis stackers
• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance
• Inspect equipment for damage or failures, perform diagnostics and repair service for equipment component failures
• Remove and replace damaged or defective components, and operate support equipment including forklifts, man lifts and service
trucks
• Basic Welding
• Clean the shop area and perform stocking functions
Qualifications:
• Open availability (24/7/365) available to work nights, weekends, and holidays that fall on your rotation required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Minimum 2 years' experience with maintaining heavy equipment in either the Construction, Transportation, or Intermodal Industry required
• Documented successful completion of lawful post-offer, pre-employment checks including criminal background check and drug screening required
