Veterinarian

Peak View Animal Hospital, located in Fowler, Colorado is seeking to welcome a talented and dedicated small animal or mixed animal veterinarian, with a degree from an accredited university and 2+ years experience, to their dynamic team to work 3 or 4 days a week, including Saturdays. No after-hours work required at our facility. Veterinarians are afforded the time and resources to thoroughly educate clients and develop comprehensive treatment plans, fostering strong relationships with both clients and their beloved pets. We currently specialize in small and mixed animal care including equine lameness, reproductive work and exotic animals. Fowler, Colorado is a peaceful, rural town located halfway between Pueblo and La Junta (30 minutes to each location), about an hour from Colorado Springs, and two hours from Denver. We are strongly family-oriented and strive for work/life balance Responsibilities- Perform physical examinations on animals to diagnose health issues and recommend treatment plans. Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments to animals as needed.- Perform surgeries on animals, including spaying and neutering procedures.- Provide emergency care to injured or sick animals.- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and treatment plans.- Maintain accurate medical records for all animals under care.- Collaborate with other veterinary professionals to ensure the well-being of animals.- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology.- Oversee and manage the overall health and well-being of animals in the clinic or hospital.- Ensure a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff members .
