RF Engineer

We are excited to announce an opening for an RF Engineer to join our R&D Team in Huntsville, AL. You will be designing RF broad band receivers, conditioners, and designing calibrations to enable coherent operation across multiple receivers while balancing interference, sensitivity, and other constraints. • Collaborating as part of a development team to design, develop, and test receivers and RF circuits for distributed aperture systems
• Building and testing RF systems to stressing requirements
• Using RF test equipment to prototype and measure your design
• Communicating findings in briefings & reports as required

• You must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• You will need 4 years of full-time professional experience. Prefer 3 years of experience in Electronic Warfare (EW), Applied RF and experience with RF Test Equipment
• You must possess or can obtain an active secret clearance.

• Experience with radar systems
• Experience characterizing RF group delay and other RF characteristics for multi aperture systems
• Designing system level and component level RF calibrations for multi aperture systems
• Working knowledge of RF requirements and designs for coherence of multiple apertures with up to
• multiple km baselines
• Working knowledge of synchronization methods for multi aperture systems including temperature effects on highly synchronized systems and clock drift compensation methods
• Proficiency in written and oral communication skills to independently develop technical white papers, briefings, etc., as required to communicate complex technical issues to the customer and stakeholders
