Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Conventional Machinist with a minimum of 10 years experience running lathes and mills. You will be responsible for running and operating conventional lathe machines with various diameter jobs. We have been an established company for over 34 years in our Torrance facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Flexibility to work on short runs on various parts
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience running lathes and mills
- Knowledge and experience running a Bridgeport machine
- Experience with hydraulics is preferred
- Familiarity with machine tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
