Electromechanical Technician: Entry & Experienced

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will conduct a variety of electronic and electromechanical assembling and testing on electronic systems, sub-assemblies, and parts to ensure operation in accordance with specifications. Duties will include:
- Solder electronic components, both through-hole and surface-mount
- Follow procedures for the assembly/disassembly, testing, and analysis of electro-mechanical devices
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems with the completed assemblies, ensuring that the product conforms to design specifications and quality standards
- Assist in the documentation of procedures
- Applies standard ESD safety protocols in an Electro/Mechanical manufacturing setting
- Assemble, test, and calibrate products to engineering specifications
- Ability to interpret wiring schematics to perform assembly procedures
- Able to work in an environment with voltage systems present
- Must be capable of lifting equipment weighing up to 20 lbs
Required Experience:
- 1+ years' experience working on similar equipment or equivalent on-the-job training OR Associate degree from a two-year/technical school in electronics/mechanical technology, engineering, engineering technician, electronics technician, mechanical engineering, electromechanical technician
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical systems, AC/DC circuits, and electro-mechanical devices
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
- Detail-oriented
- High standards of quality and care in the finished product
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office programs- Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the oil & gas industry or industrial environment preferred
- General technical knowledge in fluid power technology
- Ability to perform moderate to complex soldering methods
- 3 or more years of experience in a related field
Duty Hours: Day Shift, Monday-Friday. Full-Time position.
