Position: C++/Linux Software Engineer – C++, Linux

Duration: Long term contract with likelihood of extensions

Location: Waukesha - hybrid

Summary: This team is responsible for acquiring data from CT scanners and reconstructing images. Involves developing algorithms and high performance computing on GPUs. Product uses Linux operating systems. Mostly using C++ and OpenCL for development.

Skills Requirement: Experience with C++ and exposure to Linux. GPU processing (for ex. CUDA is a plus)

Job Description:

The team that develops industry leading CT scanners is looking for highly motivated software engineers to join them to develop the next generation of CT scanners.
Software Engineers will be working on the image reconstruction team using state-of-the-art “compute” and software platforms.
Participates in developing and testing of CT image reconstruction software, utilizing latest high-performance computing hardware (GPGPU/multicore CPU) and software technologies.
Experimenting with emerging high performance computing technologies to optimize algorithm performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate image reconstruction algorithms into product software.

Required qualifications:

C++, Linux OS, OOP, design patterns,
Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
GPU, GPGPU and CUDA and/or OpenCL

Desired qualifications:

Familiarity with Python and Linux shell scripting
Strong math background
