Job Description: As an Azure Government Cloud Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing, configuring, and optimizing our Azure Government Cloud infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud-based systems, meeting the specific requirements and compliance standards of government entities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, security professionals, and system architects, to deliver and support robust solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Provision, configure, and maintain Azure Government Cloud environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Implement and manage security controls, compliance policies, and governance frameworks specific to government regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that meet government requirements.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure seamless operations.
• Stay current with Azure Government Cloud updates, new features, and best practices, and apply them to enhance our infrastructure.
• Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans for Azure Government Cloud environments.
• Work closely with compliance and security teams to conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to government standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams for Azure Government Cloud-related projects.
Qualifications:
• Required US Citizen Located in the US
• Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator with a focus on Azure Government Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and features, especially those relevant to government deployments.
• Experience with government compliance standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in the Azure Government Cloud environment.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using bash, PowerShell, python, or other relevant tools.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment.
