About the Role
Working as part of our Project & Program Management team, the Project Scheduler is responsible for the development and maintenance of an integrated Master Schedule across key stakeholders including architecture, design/system engineering, testing, procurement, construction teams, and external suppliers. The successful candidate will have proven hands-on experience working on major projects across organizations, working well under pressure, managing complex issues and providing analysis and risk mitigation plans for project schedules and deliverables.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborate across multi-disciplined teams, internal and external, to create, compile, update, and maintain a Master Schedule per project.

  • Maintain robust communications and relationship across all departments and suppliers to ensure an accurate and committed schedule is in place supporting company’s continuous improvement process mindset.

  • Perform schedule analysis using Critical Path Method. Provide reports comparing schedule to baseline.

  • Contribute to the development of working schedules for cost estimating prior to the proposal date that sufficiently illustrates the sequence of work activities, material lead times, and contract time.

  • Provide accurate milestone forecasting and process improvements for improving forecast accuracy.

  • Tracking of daily progress down to a task-level, ensuring compliance with the plan, and ensuring the project/contract stays on schedule.

  • Compile, update, and maintain a payment schedule based on purchase orders and expected delivery dates.

  • Monitoring and updating projects/contracts to ensure they are maintained, agreed milestones are met, and resources are utilized effectively.

  • Develop and maintain project/contract schedule reports, KPI reports and ad-hoc reports, as directed by management.

  • Monitors, records, and reviews the project/contact progress and identifies corrective actions required for the project(s)Escalate any project schedule constraints and/or risks to management.

  • Manage schedule change management activities (Log of changes and executive approval where applicable).

  • Provide efficient scheduling, advise, and support to the Project Managers.

  • Coordinate inter-project dependencies including equipment and resource allocation.

  • Ensure that scheduling operates in accordance with the management systems.

  • Other schedule-related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, construction, or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years’ experience in Primavera, required.

  • 5+ years’ experience in P6 Scheduling

  • Knowledge of engineering design process in a collaborative environment.

  • Extensive knowledge of CPM scheduling and planning

  • Ability to interpret and create contract specifications and drawings.

  • Ability to understand contract procedures and principles, construction logic, and sequencing of complex projects.

  • Proven success in managing multiple concurrent projects.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for establishing rapport and managing relationships with employees, contractors, and suppliers, and clients involved in the execution of an assigned project.
