Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Advocacy and Support:
  • Serve as a trusted advocate and resource for our patients, guiding them through their hearing healthcare journey with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Provide support to patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, communication strategies, and hearing aid technology.
  • Care Coordination and Communication:
  • Coordinate patient appointments, diagnostic tests, and follow-up visits, ensuring seamless transitions of care and timely access to services.
  • Collaborate with audiologists, hearing instrument specialists, and other healthcare providers to facilitate interdisciplinary care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members, providing clear instructions, updates, and support throughout the care process.
  • Patient Engagement and Retention:
  • Build strong relationships with patients, fostering trust, loyalty, and satisfaction through personalized attention and responsive communication.
  • Proactively reach out to patients to schedule appointments, address concerns, and promote adherence to treatment plans, driving patient engagement and retention.
  • Implement patient satisfaction surveys and feedback mechanisms to monitor patient experiences, identify areas for improvement, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Administrative Support and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all interactions, assessments, treatments, and outcomes in electronic health records systems.
  • Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and billing inquiries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and reimbursement guidelines.
  • Support administrative tasks, including scheduling, billing, and inventory management, to facilitate efficient operation of the practice.

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma, Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a patient care coordination or healthcare advocacy role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize, communicate effectively, and build rapport with diverse patient populations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant software programs.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and patient privacy laws.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with integrity, professionalism, and respect.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.25 per hour
