Mission:

Hear Technologies is seeking an experienced candidate to provide support for accounting and financial reporting as an Accountant. The selected candidate will have a complete understanding of accounting and maintain the accounting as summarized below.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all accounting/financial policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with all financial policies.
• Maintain integrity in internal controls, ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal control structure control and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage and complete all AR functions daily: invoicing, payment collection, charge audit, statements, invoices, etc.
• Manage and complete all AP functions daily: reconciliations, vendor relations, payment, etc.
• Manage and complete all payroll functions.
• Manage and complete month end close, financials, management reports, etc.
• Syncing and maintaining data across multiple software applications to ensure accuracy.
• Complete all Federal and State tax reporting requirements (including sales and use, payroll, and other local taxes), insurance reports and other reports required by government regulation.
• Planning, organizing, and coordinating, the year-end close process with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare financial statements, including cash flow statements, planning, month end, budgeting and authorizing expenditures.
• Report asset utilization and audit results to management.
• Inspect accounting books and systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted procedures to record transactions.
• Inventory maintenance, reconcile inventory discrepancies and pricing discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels, recording and reporting results from inventory count procedures.
• Assist with year-end preparation of Inventory schedules.
• Other duties as assigned as they relate to the position and company goals of Hear Technologies.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required with five years of relevant accounting experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking, and the reporting and analysis of financial data.

• Individual should have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software to included Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams and especially Microsoft Excel.

• Proven proficiency in analyzing financial data in Microsoft Excel and communicating and resolving system issues.

• Experience with an Online ECommerce Platform such as Shopify.
• Experience with an Online Tax Compliance Software.
• Experience with QuickBooks is required.
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is a strong plus.
• Strong attention to detail and thorough task completion.
