We are hiring in our Capital Region office, located in Mechanicsburg, PA, for our integral Staff Accountant role. This role will offer an opportunity to learn all aspects of public accounting and will fill a key role as the firm continues to grow. You will gain much sought-after experience in tax, accounting & auditing, and small business work and will have opportunity to establish relationships with team members and clients. Essential functions and opportunities include the following:

• Using strengths, skills, and experience to perform a wide variety of work on client engagement teams
  
• Analyze financial records and learn about various industries
• Prepare financial statements as part of compilation, review, and audit engagements
• Prepare business, individual, and payroll tax returns

 The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Passion for client service, team work, and collaboration
  
• Desire to learn and grow
• Ability to prioritize, plan and organize
• Excellent analytical and computer skills 
• A Bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in Accounting or other related program, minimum of 3.0 GPA
• 1-2+ years of relevant public accounting experience
• CPA licensure or a strong desire and plan to pursue CPA license
