Educational Support Specialist

Description/Job Summary

Your Opportunity:

We are hiring a full-time Educational Support Specialist to provide support to the Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). You will assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective training projects related to various products and functions.

You will work onsite daily at the DOE Headquarters Forrestal Building, located in Washington, DC.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in the production, layout, and maintenance of training materials, reference materials, and guides on a on Executive Secretariat products and functions.
• Assist in the production of instructional videos.
• Assist in drafting and sending tips to users of the eDOCS system.
• Design and maintain training materials and website.
• Research a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods to incorporate into the delivery of training.
• Evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma and 2 or more years of directly related professional experience demonstrated clearly on your resume.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact with diverse teams of people.
• Proficiency using Microsoft 365 suite, SharePoint, and website design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
• The ability and desire to work both independently and collaboratively, exceed expectations, and work on multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.
• Demonstrated experience with eDOCS system strongly preferred.
