What you will do:

As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administrator, you will support the administration and performance of eXp’s Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and ensure optimum system performance and appropriate security, including patching for servers and databases and IaaS/PaaS components, storage and compute, network resources. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Systems, you will collaborate with other team members, communicate effectively with all stakeholders and provide reports and recommendations to leadership as required.

Support the day-to-day activities associated with Weblogic Server and PaaS databases.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of the IaaS/PaaS components.
Perform quarterly Oracle Security Patching activities for Weblogic Servers and PaaS databases.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding impact due to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure changes/releases.
Install, configure, and maintain OCI compute, storage, and network resources.
Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Manage OCI Tenancy setup and compartment design.
Maintain and configure cloud network design and cloud network (VCN).
Develop and maintain system documentation, including system architecture diagrams, procedures, and policies.
Ensure system security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Perform system upgrades, security patching, and migration activities as required.
Perform PaaS database changes as required. Examples include setting up new read-only users in the relevant databases.
Perform certificate renewal changes to ensure connectivity exists with integrating systems.
Monitor and create service requests with Oracle Support as required

How you will grab our attention:

Required Education and Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing OCI architecture.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in administering databases and Oracle Weblogic Server
End-to-end Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) implementation experience with at least 1 end-to-end Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS implementation project.
Experience in implementing RESTful APIs within Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) preferred.
7 or more years' experience with interfacing between Oracle Cloud or ERP and 3rd party systems
Must be familiar with PaaS databases and how they can be integrated with OIC.
Experience in Oracle PaaS database patching, cloning and upgrades.
Oracle Cloud Services certifications (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Experience:

If you offer demonstrated development and administration experience with Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) in a SaaS environment, you will contribute to delivering the following outcomes:

Maintain and enhance VBCS applications to meet business requirements.
Design, develop, and deploy Oracle VBCS applications.
Integrate VBCS applications with Oracle Cloud services and external APIs.
Develop and implement solutions using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).

The total base pay for this position starts at $100,000/year in our lowest geographic cost of living market up to $120,000 per hour/year in our highest geographic cost of living market and is dependent upon many factors such as location, experience, skills, and training. Base pay is only one part of the total compensation package offered to employees in recognition of their hard work and is determined within a range to allow for growth and development within a role.
