Scope and Purpose:

As our new Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing all areas of accounts payable. Additionally, you will develop and maintain accounting principles, systems, analytics, and reporting information. To be successful in this position, you must also have a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and anomalies.
  • Sustain systems, and reports accurately within regulation.
  • Retain logging codes and input accounts payable.
  • Cultivate general ledger flow from AS400 system.
  • Complete assigned special proposals and assignments.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Related.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of strong understanding of accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially logging records, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • 2 years of general ledger experience is preferred.
  • 2 years of finance skills are preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong data and records management skills are preferred.
  • Working knowledge of accounting and payroll software and systems such as QuickBooks.

Travel Requirements:

This position may require light travel within a ten-mile radius from one office location to another as needed.
