Our Energy Management Department is seeking a Senior Mineral Manager I to add to their team. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of managing client relationships with excellence and without needed and regular supervision or consultation by supervisors. Demonstrates development beyond a Mineral Manager II in the areas of direct client management and interaction, development of others, and/or growing the energy management business either at-large or in specific areas of differentiation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages a portfolio of client relationships with excellence, including institutional and individual entities.
  • Provides report preparation for client accounts in an accurate and professional manner.
  • Prepares and facilitates valuations, maps, sales, leases, energy-related agreements for client accounts, without needed periodic supervision and consultation.
  • Conducts projects requiring research, due diligence and analysis.

  • Acts as lead to present and articulate company services and value, including intangible benefits, while remaining focused on the client’s needs and expectations to clearly help define a solution.
  • Responsible for managing significant and potentially complex and/or high-value client relationships.
  • Responsible for facilitating all processes associated with client relationships, including leasing, accounting, and account administration.
  • Embraces the team-selling model to support long range plan growth goals and expand the company’s presence.
  • Interfacing in a prompt and professional manner with external parties and internal resources (e.g. accounting, corporate) and works to create an accurate and efficient client experience.
  • Presents company’s energy management capabilities to existing or prospective customers in varying capacities (e.g. conference booths, virtual presentations with clients, etc.)
  • Hosts and/or attends industry or company workshops, conferences, trade shows, networking functions and other organized events; maintains a presence in professional or community service organizations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree or work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Four (4) years of oil and gas industry experience, preferably with experience in client relationship management.
  • Acquired or eligible to pursue AAPL accreditation (RL, RPL, CPL or NARO [CMM]
  • Ability to communicate oil & gas fundamentals and market factors.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Continually required to sit, talk/hear and utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read a computer monitor and use a keyboard.
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasionally travel (5%) within specified region on prospective client visits and to attend company/industry functions as required.
