Description:

CNC Mill program operator is to be a well-versed programmer to ensure engineering/ customers blueprints are interpreted correctly. Ensure quality/ quantity meet Quality Assurance/ production requirements respectively. Comprehensive knowledge of CNC Mill set up/ tool changes.

Requirements:

Program, set-up and operate Fadal CNC Milling machines and/or Mazak CNC mill
Have experience programming in Mazatrol language or G&M codes at the machine control
Strong knowledge of machining principles, techniques, and practices
Be able to work with little supervision
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and machine attachments
Use precision measuring instruments
Inspect completed parts for conformance to quality requirements
Have strong blueprint reading skills. Basic knowledge of GD&T is helpful
Have experience in short-run production
Strong knowledge of machining principles, techniques, and practices
Be able to hold close tolerances
Have experience machining a variety of materials: tool steel, alloy steel, stainless steel
Have strong math skills
Load and unload machine with overhead crane
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
