Kulak's Nursery & Landscaping is Seeking Dump Truck Driver

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials to and from job sites, including soil, mulch, plants, and other landscaping supplies. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our landscaping projects.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maneuver dump trucks to transport materials to designated locations.


• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, following safety protocols at all times.


• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the dump truck to ensure it is in good working condition.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dump truck, including regular cleaning and minor maintenance tasks.


• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and job site requirements.


• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the dump truck.


• Assist with general landscaping duties as needed, such as planting, mulching, and watering.

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Drivers License 


• Experience as a dump truck driver or similar role, preferred


• Knowledge of safe driving practices and ability to operate heavy equipment.


• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.


• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments.


• Attention to detail and commitment to safety at all times.


• Own transportation to and from work
