Job Description
Objective: To support production through testing, inspection, and auditing of products, processes, and tools with the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience of quality inspection or 1 year of service in Production at Power Drives, Inc.
- Experience in blueprint reading
- Experience with measurement tools and techniques (ex. Calipers, micrometers, scales, etc.)
- Familiar with Coordinate Measuring Devices

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group Leader
- Immediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns
- Follow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work procedures
- Meet or exceed all quality and quantity requirements
- Responsible for product inspection at defined intervals
- Responsible for the validation of first piece production runs
- Responsible for any quality related testing required by the customer
- Responsible for insuring compliance to customer/quality system requirements
- Assist in the external/internal auditing process through audit participation
- Performs process audits and inspection audits
- Utilize a range of measurement tools and techniques (ex/ calipers, scales, gage blocks, fixtures, 3D measurement, etc.)
- Training other team members as assigned
- Participate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assigned
- Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolutions efforts
- Read and understand product blueprints and technical data sheets as required
- Perform basic preventative equipment maintenance as assigned
- Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictates
Pay Range: $16.50 to $21.59 an hour based on qualifications and experience
