We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Shop Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, repair, and maintain our equipment. $20+/hr. (based on experience) great benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Manage shop inventory
- Clean and maintain shop equipment and shop itself
- Assist Shop Manager with repair and fabrication of rental equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanic, or other related fields
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Smith Hughes has 75+ years of experience in sales, service, rental and installation of steam boilers, hot water boilers, and thermal fluid systems. We specialize in packaged boilers, heat exchangers and water treatment solutions. Our OSHA and factory trained Service Technicians are trained to operate, maintain and repair industrial equipment. With our inventory of mobile rental boilers and auxiliary equipment, we can provide temporary solutions for increased production, annual shut-down or emergency boiler needs.
