Job Summary
The Application Specialist – Positron Emission Tomography Imaging will also be supporting the sales team for customer demonstration and consulting during product evaluation. Successful candidates will demonstrate the characteristics of authenticity and integrity that is needed to build meaningful and lasting relationships with our customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide customer consultancy and support in individual workflow improvements, including having the ability to deliver clinical education, adjustment of system parameters and implementation of new methods and clinical workflows to expand customer portfolio.
- Provide professional applications support to quickly process and resolve customer complaints; provide remote support when not on-site.
- Provide on-site application education for Positron Emission Tomography (PET), including demonstration, updates and upgrades for standard systems and applications.
- Support sales team: product demonstrations, preparation of clinical case studies, presenting images to clinicians/physicians, new products learning and coaching of new recruits.
- Assist in the development of application training courses to be delivered on-site at a customer location or at the United Imaging Headquarters and Training Center in Houston.
- Support the R&D/CRM process, including customer needs, issues, as well as provision of troubleshooting know-how and experience.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Radiology or Positron Emission Tomography or related field.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a PET radiological technologist or radiographer in a healthcare
industry/clinical setting and 3+ years of experience as application specialist
in one specific modality field.
Required Skills or/ Attributes
- Team player, positive attitude, enjoys working with people and committed to providing excellent customer satisfaction.
- Experience in research or case studies involving similar area is beneficial.
- This position requires extensive travel within a territory up to 75%
