Marina Attendant

Job Summary:
The Marina Attendant at Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests utilizing the marina and lake at our resort. This is a Part Time - hourly position located in College Corner, Ohio, and the role is an individual contributor role.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position will be an hourly rate depending on experience. Benefits are not available for part-time employees.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival to the marina and assist with check-in process
- Provide information and recommendations on boat rentals, fishing equipment, and water activities
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the marina, including maintaining rental boats, dock area, and facilities
- Conduct safety checks and assist guests with proper use of equipment and boat operation
- Collect payments, issue rental equipment and answer any questions or concerns from guests
- Monitor lake activity and enforce safety rules and regulations
- Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of rental boats, including fueling, cleaning, and repairs as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any guest issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of rental equipment, sales, and inventory
- Assist with special events and promotions at the marina as needed

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service and/or water activities preferred
- Knowledge of boating safety regulations and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
