Excess Casualty Claims Specialist (J.D. Preferred)

We are working on a Chief Claim Specialist role with an A+ rated Carrier that has been in business for over 30 years.

The Chief Claim Specialist effectively manages a caseload of Excess/Umbrella/Complex/Major Case claims in areas including product, transportation, premises, environmental, chemical exposure, construction defect and other complex claims.

We are looking for someone with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and who has experience in litigation management, policy interpretation, identifying coverage issues, statutes/state regulations, and settlement negotiations.

It can be someone who is currently in private practice looking to transition in-house or someone who currently works at an insurance carrier in claims and looking for a stronger position.

This is a Hybrid role working 3 days in office and 2 from home. They offer a competitive salary with full benefits along with supporting work/ life balance.
