Daycare Teacher ECE

Duties:

Salary will commensurate with experience working in the field

- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and progress
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained

Skills:

- Strong time management skills to effectively plan and prioritize tasks
- Ability to educate and engage young children in learning activities
- Leadership skills to guide and supervise children in a classroom setting
- Proficiency in computer operation for administrative tasks
- Knowledge of childcare best practices and early childhood education principles
- Experience working with children, including those with special education needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Frenchify (Frenchify is a made-up term here)
