Job Description
Job Summary:
Field Tech II is responsible and shall be able to perform all that is required of a Field Tech III employee. A Field Tech II is the tech responsible for supporting the execution of a client’s project and their environmental program. The Field Tech II employees may be required to travel up to but not limited to 2 weeks at a time based on business demands. All Field Tech II employees are responsible for executing their daily tasks as safely and efficiently as possible.
Salary: $21.00/ per hour while in California
Travel Salary: $300 per diem (meals and lodging provided during travel)

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Shall be able to work in both, individual and teamwork settings with minimum to no supervision.
• Shall be able to gather appropriate job equipment and verify its available and on-site to easily ensure the completion of the project/job assignment.
• Shall be able to perform operations including, but not limited to, powers washing, steam cleaning, surface cleaning, recovery of waste, drum movement, leaf blowing, and/or general cleaning of various sites.
• Shall be able to transport team members to sites using company vehicles
• Shall be able to load and offload equipment from company vehicles.
• Shall be able to complete and submit Daily Worksheets for proper billing.
• Shall be able to train other Field Technicians.
• Shall be able to report all work-related accidents/incidents to Supervisor or Lead.
• Shall be able to assist on Non-Emergency and Emergency on-call work, including weekends and holidays.
• Shall be able to maintain accurate and current records in accordance with company guidelines.
• Shall be able to assist in vehicular or any other on or off-site accident investigations.
• Shall be able to work overtime as required.
• Shall be able to work varying shifts in labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout your shift.
• Shall be able to perform work in atmosphere with low clearances, confined spaces and high altitudes.
• Shall be able to complete and submit all paperwork required for JSA ensure closures, Work Orders, Site audit Reports and Images.
• Shall be able to ensure all work meets all applicable Health & Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
• Shall be able to review all applicable SOP’s and satisfactorily completes training pertaining to projects.
• Shall ensure, understand and take ownership of areas that require specific permits to abide by compliance standards.
• Shall meet or exceed production goals.
• Shall maintain a clean work environment.
• Shall understand Clean Compliance Standards.
• Shall be able to perform other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and to meet the needs of the company and clients.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Education & Experience:
• At least 1-2 years of related experience; Not required but preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Required
• Valid Driver’s License; Required
• 3 year Clean Driving Record
• 40HR Training HAZWOPER Training
• OSHA – 10HR general Workplace Safety Training
• Confine Space Training
• Previous Laborer experience is an asset (i.e. Industrial Construction Background); or the ability to perform manual labor.
• Must demonstrate good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read, write and understand English. Bilingual English/ Spanish; not required but preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Shall have the physical ability to climb on and off trailers, vehicles and other equipment
• Shall have the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs from the ground up to your waist.
• Shall have the physical ability to climb up and down vertical ladders.
• Shall have the physical ability to reach out, over and down exerting a force.
• Shall have the physical ability to do 10 pushups, deep know squats and sit-ups (to determine fit).
• Shall have good hand/eye coordination.
