Job Description

QLM (QUALITY LABOR MANAGEMENT) is currently hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics with commercial new construction experience for site work throughout the New Orleans, LA area! QLM strives to provide you with a fantastic opportunity to fit your skill set with opportunities to grow in the trade! Base Salary: $35,000 – $80,000 per year!!!

Qualifications of Sheet Metal Mechanic:

Must be available to work 7 AM to 3 PM Monday through Friday at minimum
Incredibly competitive weekly pay – pay based on experience
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a Drug Test
Good attitude and work well with others

Responsibilities of Sheet Metal Mechanic:

Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the necessary amount of material required to complete projects.
Measure and cut material.
Operate all equipment necessary to complete projects including milling machines, saws, drills, etc.
Inspect and maintain material quality.
Document and submit work orders as necessary.
Work as a team with other employees to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean work area and perform regular housekeeping.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
