Construction Worker

Skill-Crew is currently seeking experienced and motivated Construction Workers to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Worker, you will play a key role in helping us deliver high-quality construction projects safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with various tasks on construction sites, including but not limited to, site preparation, demolition, excavation, and cleanup.
2. Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
3. Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed.
4. Perform basic carpentry, masonry, and concrete work under the supervision of experienced professionals.
5. Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your coworkers.
7. Assist with the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment.
8. Erect and dismantle temporary structures, such as scaffolding, as required.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress, issues, and concerns.
10. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working in the construction industry preferred.
2. Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
3. Basic understanding of construction techniques and methods.
4. Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
8. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
10. OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it.
