Adult Behavioral Therapist

Pride Health is hiring for an Adult Behavioral Therapist to support our client’s medical facility based in Southgate, MI. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is to participate in the delivery of clinical services, including intake evaluations, and direct treatment for adults and families.
• Assess and document the needs of clients who present themselves for outpatient mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse services utilizing Person-Centered Planning principals.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Work collaboratively with others in relation to the client and family including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, school personnel and other family service or support people.
• Must meet all of the contractual requirements of the funding sources and/or agency, including maintaining State licensure.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings and case consultations.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure.
• Candidate without a state license can be considered but must obtain state licensure (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC or LLP) within a 60-day training period beginning on the date of hire.
• Candidate must obtain the Qualified Mental Health Professional credential within 120 days of hire.
• Must have one year of experience (may include time spent in fieldwork or internship) treating or working with people who have been diagnosed with mental illness.

Additional Information:

• Location: Southgate, MI
• Job Type: Direct Hire
• Schedule: Regular working hours are Monday thru Thursday 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 to 5 pm. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required.
• Pay Range: $50,000- $73,000

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
