Job Description

Swingers – the crazy golf club is currently looking for an Event Services Manager to join our growing team and upcoming 39,000+ sq foot location in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas!  In addition to competitive benefits, we offer an annual salary of $65,000-70,000* for this role.

The role:

The Event Services Manager is responsible for supervising the planning, coordination, and execution of events spanning various market segments.  Overall, they will plan and coordinate the pipeline of events- working closely with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and vision, offering expert advice and creative ideas to tailor events to their specifications, while meeting the compliance requirements of the venue and resort.  This crucial position demands outstanding organizational abilities, acute attention to detail, and the capability to create unforgettable experiences for our clients and guests.

 

Our perfect candidate has:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a comparable Events or Sales position within a high-volume events business
  • Outstanding communication and organization skills
  • Ability to manage events in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on outstanding customer service
  • A personal commitment to organizational excellence; displays honesty, integrity, and a strong ethical approach in all decisions and actions. 
  • Ability to apply a high level of commercial acumen to all aspects of strategic planning and execution of sales strategy including in the face of market shifts and evolving competition
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Excellent awareness of hospitality market trends and competitive landscape
  • Enthusiastic outlook and capable of effectively transferring and encouraging enthusiasm throughout the wider team  
  • A fearless attitude towards hitting sales targets and a determination for helping the team to succeed

*The base pay range for this position is $65,000-70,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills, etc.
