Radiologic Technologist - MEDcare - Charleston, SC

MEDcare Urgent Care has been proudly providing top-ranked patient care to South Carolina communities since 2007. Radiologic Technologists are critical to the success of our clinical teams and crucial to providing fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare at our 13 MEDcare Urgent Care centers. With onsite digital X-ray, EKG, common laboratory assays, our teams are able to offer a high level of care to our patients.

Our centers are open 7 days per week, 8AM - 8PM.

Job Description

• Perform radiology imaging procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending provider.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and process all X-ray orders.
• Learn and practice advanced skills under the direction of our providers. You are trained and trusted with a wider scope of practice including injections, phlebotomy, IVs, EKGs, and orthopedic care.
• DR X-ray equipment.
• Work alongside friendly providers, reception, and clinical teammates.

Position Highlights

• Competitive Pay: Start at $27/hour with time-based raises and multiple opportunities for performance and training-related promotions. Employees are strongly encouraged to seek additional promotions and $29/hour is easy to accomplish within nine months (often sooner).

• Flexible Schedule: Work three shifts per week with the opportunity for unlimited overtime pay (1.5x).
• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 8AM-8PM

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Minimum licensing from South Carolina Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
• ARRT registration a plus
• We welcome new grads after passing the ARRT registry
