Field Sales Representative - Kansas City, MO

Midwest Tech Services is a Distributor & Manufacturer's Representative of equipment, tools and production materials to the Electronics Manufacturing Industry. Representing the best brands in the industry, you will help midwestern technology companies - consumer electronics, automotive, agriculture, medical device, telecom, and defense manufacturing - get the equipment they need to build the products and the jobs of tomorrow. We will prepare you to develop new business, expand existing accounts, and provide technical expertise for your expanding customer base.

Sales Territory: Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska

An ideal background includes:

• You MUST CURRENLTY live In the greater Kansas City, MO area.
• 1-10 years of sales experience with demonstrated success and promotion.
• College degree is great but not necessary, an engineering degree is even better.
• We can teach you the technical background.
• Most important is that you have a proven work ethic, competitiveness, and a commitment to excellence.

This job requires a disciplined and independent working professional and team player who is strong on follow through and relationship development. This is a technical sale to engineers, manufacturing professionals and purchasing, but ultimately, it's about working with people. To succeed, you will need to be comfortable with all levels of customers, from buyers and floor operators to manufacturing engineers, managers and owners. We will provide support and mentorship, empowering you to run your own business - building relationships, setting pricing and profit margins, managing your time and territory. Your focus will be key account management, selling strategic products, capital equipment and long-term-supply contracts.
