About the Position
The Pool Start-up Technician/Construction Assistant role is responsible for assisting the Construction Department and Construction Manager by performing a variety of tasks that help ensure efficient workflows and internal communication while keeping in alignment with AquaTerra standards and procedures.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Plaster Start Ups/Pool School
- Perform start up after plaster and record visits in project management software
- Program pool equipment controllers
- Participate in client Orientation meetings and instruct homeowners how to use their equipment
- Weekly maintenance as needed
Warehouse/Inventory
- Check in Deliveries
- Stage items for pick up
- Movement of product in warehouse
- Perform physical inventory on a regular basis
Pick Up/Deliveries
- Pick up product from Vendor warehouses and deliver to job sites as needed
Warranty
- Perform initial warranty inspections and verifications when assigned
- Complete warranty repairs when assigned
- Schedule and track warranty repairs with Trade Partners when required
General Responsibilities
- Perform tasks/repairs for office
- Special projects as assigned by Construction Manager
- Attend weekly meetings
- Maintain organized schedule
About You
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in pool industry
- NPC, PHTA or Watershapes University Certification desired
- Knowledge of proper start up techniques, pool water chemistry and pool equipment operation
- Proven ability to manage several responsibilities at a time while adjusting to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Current driver license and clean driving record for the past 2 years
