SUMMARY:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Clerk with a strong Accounts Receivable (A/R) background and experience in accounting reconciliation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily accounting tasks, including processing invoices, posting transactions, and reconciling accounts receivable and payable
• Process customer payments and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Conduct regular accounting reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues
• Assist with month-end and year-end closings, including preparing journal entries and supporting documentation
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records and transactions

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher in accounting preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with accounting reconciliation processes
