Summary of Position

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is directly responsible to the Staff PT and/or the PT Director. The PTA carries out the plan of care and progresses the patient through rehab as set forth by the treating physical therapist. The PTA may coordinate volunteers and students in their area of the physical therapy department.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must have or be eligible for State Licensure
