Housekeeper

****MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM 6:00 A.M. TO 2:30 P.M.****

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Experience: 6 months Housekeeping experience preferred
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to read and understand instruction manuals and SDS
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to use chemicals responsibly
• Must be courteous and professional toward customers and co-workers
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist, work on hands/knees, reach above head, push floor equipment, and crawl under furniture, and work on a ladder
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for a minimum of two hours at a time
• Must be able to pass a Kansas Bureau of Investigation screen

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The Prairie View campus cleaning is done in a professional and orderly manner
• Assigned public trash is dumped daily
• Assigned floors are maintained and kept from debris, trash, and stains
• Assigned restrooms are cleaned daily according to written procedures
• Assigned offices are cleaned weekly
• Maintains a professional and supportive level of communication with coworkers and supervisor
