Nurse RN LPN

Current Nurse Openings:

• Full-time (1.0 FTE) Evening shift (3:00-11:30 PM)
• Full-time (0.9 FTE), Evening shift (3:00-11:30 PM)
• Full-time (0.8 FTE), Evening shift (3:00-11:30 PM)
• Part-time (0.4 FTE), Evening shift (3:00-11:30 PM

Primary RN/LPN Responsibilities:

• Direct resident care, assessment and documentation
• Administer resident medication
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies
• Complete transcription of provider orders
• Coordinate with long-term care pharmacy to ensure timely prescription refills
• Assist with scheduling and transportation coordination for resident medical appointments
• Charge Nurse duties as needed upon completion of Charge Nurse training

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Nursing license in good standing
• BLS Certification
• Proficiency with computer software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, EHR)
• Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary team framework
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work 1 weekend/month

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with resident populations
• Mental health nursing experience
• Knowledge of mental illness and needs of the population
• Familiarity with psychotropic medications and side effects
