B&B Innkeeper Couple

Houston owners need a B&B Innkeeper Couple to autonomously run their five-room B&B in a peaceful, rural setting on the Angelina River and less than two miles from Lake Sam Rayburn. The current configuration is three buildings on 8.25 beautifully wooded acres. The main house offers 5,625 square feet with the Innkeeper's Master Suite and three guest rooms. There are two vintage cottages with plans to add three duplex cottages and a three-bedroom cottage, which will offer 12 units within a year or so.

B&B Innkeeper Requirements:

• At least three years of experience managing a B&B Inn with at least 10 rooms
• An Innkeeping couple, one of whom needs good cooking skills
• Manage daily operations including general cleaning, guest room cleaning, laundry, grounds work, and seasonal decorating projects
• Create fresh, local, seasonal menu options for breakfast, cocktail hour, and personalized celebrations
• Desired traits: personable, exemplary communication skills, motivated self-starters, flexible, and able to create memorable experiences for all guests
• Monitor and update all marketing and social media sites including website, Facebook, blogs, review sites, e-newsletters, and local marketing events
• Proven financial management abilities including inventory
• Experience selling and hosting special events including weddings, retreats, and family reunions
• No smoking and no pets

B&B Innkeeper Compensation:

• Base salary of $60,000 to $70,000 plus housing, utilities, tips, bonus, and benefits
• Quarterly incentive-based bonus program
• Healthcare available after 90-days
• Five days PTO after six months and every six months thereafter
• The Innkeeper's fully-furnished housing is the spacious Master Suite with two bathrooms, a walk-in closet, and a washer & dryer for the innkeeper's personal laundry
