Our client is a rapidly growing construction firm seeking a Job Cost Accountant to join their finance department. They are growing both organically and through acquisitions. With a commitment to their employees and culture, this is a stable organization with a collaborative environment.
- Responsibilities: Monitor project expenses, allocate costs accurately, and analyze budget variances.
- Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheets) for ongoing projects.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support effective cost control.
- Assist in project cost estimation and contribute to month-end/year-end activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate project performance and risks.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in Cost Accounting or similar role.
- Construction industry experience highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with project management software is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA or CMA) are advantageous.
Hybrid work schedule, 3 days on-site. Base salary up to $85,000, annual discretionary bonus, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k retirement plans, and unlimited PTO policy.
